A Mutant Brain Dominates Planet Earth Part 1.

The human brain, a marvel of natural selection, mutation and evolution. The brain of Homo Sapiens is an enigma in the biological world, where most other life forms have been analyzed and found to fit right in with evolution here on the Earth, the human being is somewhat different. The fascinating question about the human brain is why is it so big?
Around three times the size of other comparable sized life forms. Natural selection and survival of the fittest has given other so called lower life forms a brain that is just adequate to survive on this planet. The basic role of the brain in animals and humans is essentially the same, it has to keep the body functioning, regulating things like heartbeat, breathing, etc.
The brain also tells it’s owner when it is hungry, tired, aggressive, friendly, and so on. We know that all life depends on these basic functions for survival and the human being is no different in this respect. Indeed we are well equipped to equal any other animal regarding committed brain power, by this I mean the power needed for survival on this planet. Where we are different is in the amount of brain volume that is uncommitted for day to day survival.

Somewhere along the line the human brain took a quantum leap that is not in keeping with mere survival. We don’t just have a brain that is one and a half times that of our nearest animal relatives, it’s a massive three times the size, making the human brain a kind of super computer with the ability to think and reason. This super brain over the generations, has crafted it’s body to serve it well, with hands that have the ability for precision and manipulation of everything it comes into contact with. This is not consistent with the evolution that Charles Darwin, author of The Origin of Species has correctly attributed to other life forms here on earth.
There is absolutely no need for the human brain to be as big as it is to compete and succeed in the race for survival on this planet. So, why is it so big? why are we so different to our fellow creatures? What happened to make us so superior in the race for intellect and reason. The only way to solve this mystery is to resort to logic and reason. What is the bottom line? What has this extra brain size actually given us? Let’s look at the facts about life here on Earth.
1. We are all organisms dependant on DNA being passed down through the generations for tens of thousands of years.
2. DNA can be corrupted for many reasons, suffice to say that when it is corrupted and passed on it spawns a mutant.
3. Mutants are essential to survival in a changing world (the world has changed many times in 4 billion years).
4. There are many many things about the heavens and Earth that even the human brain is ignorant of or simply cannot understand.
OK so armed with these facts we now know that evolution can take many generations of slowly altering DNA or it can make changes that are massive in just one generation with a mutant. We all know of the mutations that can happen, for example a person can be born with an extra leg or arm, not so valuable to survival because we already have two of each. The brain, also affected by DNA mutation can alter significantly in a generation.
Lets suppose 40,000 years ago a baby human ancestor was born with a brain three times larger than it’s mother and father (assuming they were indigenous to this particular planet), what do you think would happen to such a baby? Do you think it would be cast out like a baby born with three legs? I don’t think so somehow, no, this baby would prosper and dominate, it would be successful in all aspects of survival. It would pick out a mate and pass down it’s mutation to it’s offspring.
It wouldn’t take long for that brain mutation to dominate every descendant of the original mutant. Getting back to the question of how this would affect the human race, A brain with so much uncommitted brain power is a blank canvas that has a virtually unlimited capacity for awareness, reason, creativity and logic, the grunts and groans we previously uttered would have to evolve into language therefore the larynx could not fail but to become a means for speech through natural selection. Then the written language, the need for the emergent awareness to pass down it’s knowledge to it’s descendants. Since that first mutation the human being has been moulded into what it is today, by it’s brains own needs, desires and curiosity, natural selection is a designer supreme, at the cutting edge of perfection.
The human being also had one other entity to deal with. In those early days people were born into clans or tribes. They had their territories for survival and guarded them fiercely with an ingenuity unique in the biological world, competition was fierce and merciless.
One clan would attack another maybe better off clan and kill them all without mercy or forethought, it was survival, kill or be killed. The human brain evolved further by competing with the most intelligent beings ever to grace this planet, themselves. That same process of destruction and creation is still going on today, with weapons of mass destruction, and super computers all designed and crafted by that same mutant brain using knowledge and experience it has gained and passed down from its ancient mutant ancestor. It’s unstoppable, it’s simply mutation and evolution.

This brain evolved on planet Earth and is well equipped to prosper, maybe there are other brains that evolved elsewhere and are much larger and more complex than even the human brain. The laws of averages, probability and reason tell me it is inevitable. Coming soon, the probability of life on other worlds and the grand masters of the cosmos, THE ALIEN SUPER BRAIN.
